Thursday 6/25/20 – Hair Loss as a Side Effect or Symptom
While we often think of hair loss as a genetic or aging issue, for many patients their hair loss is actually a side effect or symptom of something else. One of the most well known examples is chemotherapy, which often causes extensive hair loss. Some lesser known examples are hormone replacement therapy or weight loss surgery, which can both cause hair loss. During this webinar Dr. Wendel will take a closer look at some medications, medical treatments, and lifestyle choices that can cause hair loss and what we can do to try to limit or treat that hair loss when it happens.
