About Dr. Wendel Medi Tresse’s Medical Director & Founder

In 2002, Dr. Wendel opened the Women’s Hair Loss Center in Worcester, MA—one of the first practices in the country devoted entirely to treating hair loss in women. After treating hundreds of patients, she saw firsthand how hair loss impacts appearance, self-esteem, and quality of life.

Her passion for finding effective, non-surgical treatments only deepened when she began experiencing hair thinning, giving her a personal connection to her patients' struggles.

In 2015, she founded Medi Tresse, opening the first clinic in Wellesley, MA, with a mission to deliver compassionate, female-focused hair restoration solutions. Since then, Medi Tresse has expanded to multiple locations, serving more than 3,000 women nationwide.

Dr. Wendel continues to serve as Medical Director, guiding Medi Tresse’s diagnostic-first, patient-centered approach and advancing care for women in every stage of hair loss.
