Microblading And Micropigmentation

Microblading And Micropigmentation Provide Immediate Solutions For Patients Concerned About Hair Loss

Medi Tresse offers multiple services that deliver long-term improvements for hair loss. Over time, many patients have expressed interest in more immediate cosmetic solutions, as well as treatment options for thinning eyebrows. Upon careful research and consultations with other experts in our field, we have determined that microblading and micropigmentation are both effective treatment options for these areas of concern!

Microblading and Micropigmentation are semi-permanent treatments that carefully apply pigment into the dermal layer of the skin to create the illusion of hair. These procedures are currently exclusive to our Medi Tresse Boston location. We hope to provide them at additional locations soon!

Microblading

Microblading treatments help patients regain confidence in the way they look when they have issues with thinning eyebrows. Pigmentation is carefully applied to strategically darken skin and create the appearance of thicker, fuller brows.

Micropigmentation

Just as microblading uses pigmentation to create the appearance of fuller brows, micropigmentation treatments can make hair on the scalp appear fuller. The pigment is carefully applied to areas where your hair is visibly thinning, making it more difficult for people to notice the change in hair density and thickness. While this treatment is not meant to address concerns about hair health, it provides a short-term answer to the cosmetic problems associated with hair loss and thinning hair.

Micropigmentation & Microblading FAQ

How Long Will Micropigmentation Or Microblading Treatment Take?

An initial treatment can take around two hours to complete. If we are treating a larger area, the process can take longer.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

You can expect to undergo two treatments during your initial procedure. Your first visit should take approximately two hours to complete. A follow-up, typically scheduled 4-8 weeks after your first visit, will occur so that we can “touch up” the treatment.

Are Microblading And Micropigmentation Treatments Permanent?

Both procedures are semi-permanent. Pigmentation will gradually fade over time. However, touch-up appointments every 12-18 months can help you maintain your appearance.

Will These Procedures Lead To Hair Growth Or Better Hair Health?

Microblading and micropigmentation are not recommended for addressing hair health or hair loss issues. However, they can resolve cosmetic problems that occur when you lose hair from your scalp, or when your eyebrows start to thin.
